The sketch map of the Meuse between Mouzon and Sedan is continued here from the front flyleaf opposite (Tate D40727). From Mouzon, the towns listed include: ‘Villars’ (Villers-devant-Mouzon); ‘Raucourt’ (?Raucourt-et-Flaba); ‘Amblemont’ (Amblimont); ‘Romilly’ (Remilly-Allicourt); ‘Douzy’; ‘La Zeille’ (Bazeilles).
Turner has also inscribed a list of relative distances between towns on the Meuse which lie close to the border between northern France and Belgium. The list reads:
‘Verdun to Sedan                  75 miles.
Sedan to Mezieres                 26 miles.
Mez. to Charleville                 5
Ch. to Givet                           67
Givet to Dinant                     16
Verdun to M.                       101
V. to Charleville                 106
