This was a left-hand page from the sketchbook, and has watercolour down the edge of the gutter at right from the subject that originally faced it. As pointed out by Hill, the sketch is a detail of the riverside houses seen in Tate D D05928; Turner Bequest XCV 24, also from this sketchbook.
