Here Turner has drawn a sketch map of the Meuse between the Belgian cities of Dinant and Namur. Turner shows the Meuse meeting the River Sambre at Namur, and its easterly course towards Andenne. The locations that this cataloguer has been able to transcribe are listed below, with an approximation of the real place names noted in brackets to the right of the transcription where necessary or possible. The map is continued on the folio opposite (Tate D19560; Turner Bequest CCXVI 5).
