Here Turner has recorded aspects of Givet in the Ardennes department of northern France. With the book turned horizontally, the largest sketch shows the Tour Victoire, Church of Saint-Hilaire and the citadel in the distance. Two curved lines in the foreground roughly suggest the form of moored boats at a quay. The sketch parallel to the gutter of the book also incorporates the Tower of Victory, Church of Saint-Hilaire as well as the Pont de Meuse. With the sketchbook orientated in accordance with the foliation, a cursory jotting of Givet and Pont de Meuse can be seen.
