Description: The seminar will look at current practice and future possibilities for art museum partnerships. The Great British Art Debate brought four museums together to stimulate discussion about art, nationhood and British identity through shared exhibitions of their collections. This seminar will reflect on the success of the project’s activities and exhibitions, exploring partnership working and developing ideas for an ongoing British Art partnership.

Introducing the ‘Pocket Art Gallery’ App

The Great British Art Debate is now in its fourth and final year. To celebrate a fantastic collaboration between all of the GBAD partners, we decided to make a free iPhone app called ‘Pocket Art Gallery’ to showcase artworks from each of the galleries.

Pocket Art Gallery aims to encourage YOU to take artworks out of the gallery and place them in your surroundings whether that’s your kitchen wall or the local park.
