This page features an assortment of inscriptions and minor topographical and architectural studies, executed with the sketchbook turned in different positions. The uppermost sketch appears to be a rough outline of a fortified hilltop town, possibly the medieval walls of Monteriggioni, near Siena. To the left is a cross, perhaps denoting a windmill or church, and the obscure form in the top-left corner may represent a tree. The accompanying inscriptions are partly illegible.
A slight landscape study dotted with trees and buildings lies below, and the lower section of the page features a crenellated medieval gateway, possibly near Monteriggioni, the subject of the recto (D21610). Oriented at a right-angle in the bottom-left corner is a further outline of fortified buildings and possibly a watchtower.
