This page, used horizontally, contains two very rough, schematic sketches which the geographer and Turner researcher Roland Courtot has identified as representing views of the coastline at Villefranche-sur-Mer and Cap Ferrat.1 A similar, but more detailed and legible prospect can be found on folio 14 recto opposite (D21159).
