This page is comparable to the preceding page, folio 17 recto (D12465), and the following, folio 19 recto (D12467). It shows a turbulent skyscape with heavy clouds dominating the lower half of the composition. Contrasting diagonal brushstrokes present across the composition give a sense of strong winds moving and splitting the clouds.
