In the centre of the lower half of the sketch is a figure wearing a dark coat; beyond him or her is a long bridge with several arches. On the other side of this crossing is a tall tower ornamented with fine Gothic features. To the right, though on which side of the river is unclear, is a tall tree.

Blank except for inscriptions. Traces of white strips of paper along the edges of the sheet indicate an earlier mount. Inscribed in pencil ‘D25079’ towards bottom left, ascending vertically ascending. Inscribed in pencil, but partially obscured by the pasted paper, ‘232 | [...]’ bottom left, ascending vertically.
