Inverted in relation to the sketchbook as foliated, these sketches depict distant views of Rouen as seen from the high ground to the north of the city. The upper drawing continues onto folio 15 verso (D24104; Turner Bequest CCLV 15a). Rouen is the main subject of the drawings in this volume.
