J.M.W. Turner: Sketchbooks, Drawings and Watercolours

Here Turner depicts Colchester in the county of Essex. Colchester Castle crowns the ridge at left, overlooking the town and its winding streets which unfurl beyond. Middle Mill is pictured on the right, on the banks of a pond.
