This page is blank apart from the inscription by Turner’s executors, with the book’s original schedule number endorsed by Charles Lock Eastlake and John Prescott Knight, inverted at the bottom of the page relative to the foliation: ‘408 Book containing 5 leaves | with pencil sketches’, initialled ‘C.L.E’ and ‘JPK’. Usually the number and description were inscribed by Henry Scott Trimmer in ink, but here they appear to be in Eastlake’s hand.
