Blind-stamped with the Turner Bequest monogram towards bottom right
These mountains, sketched in a very slight outline, may be in the Arve Valley or near Chamonix in view of adjacent subjects from the sketchbook. The paper is rubbed, and discoloured due to deposits in the grey-wash preparation.
