This page contains two landscape sketches of mountainous landscape. The locations are currently unidentified although they perhaps relate to Turner’s passage through the Alps via the Mont Cenis pass, see folio 2 verso (D16643). The upper vista depicts a lake scene and the lower prospect includes a church or other building visible on the right-hand side.
