Another drawing looking towards Windsor is on folio 11 verso (D08382). Turner passed to its south at the outset of his West Country journey (see the introduction to the tour), and mentions it in his poetry on folio 28 verso (D08414).
The rough sketch above shows the blockhouses at Fowey on the left and Polruan in the distance on the right, and was made a considerable time later on the westward leg of his journey. For a clearer view see folio 16 verso (D08392) and for others in and around Fowey see under folio 5 verso (D08371).
