Continued on folio 3 (D07858) this slight sketch shows open country, Cumbrian fells or Yorkshire moors, with a few horses and figures. There are indications of a cloudy sky. A similar sketch is on folio 4 (D07860). These subjects might relate to the drawings of sportsmen and gun-dogs later in the book, but they are separated by other subjects and the locations are not recognisable; see Introduction to the sketchbook for further discussion.
