Probably a left-hand page from the sketchbook, with stitch holes on the right.
The drawing, of Downs or Weald, occupies the left half of the sheet, indicating to Finberg that it is ‘probably a continuation’ of another subject. Numbered by Finberg as a verso it is now mounted as if it were the recto of D10333; Turner Bequest CXXXVIII 12.
The leaf has suffered from creasing and there is a tear near the top right corner.
