The drawing is inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation. Like those on folios 6 recto and verso opposite (D20604, D20605), it shows Windsor Castle to the south-east, beyond trees beside the River Thames in the vicinity of Eton College, which may be loosely indicated on the right; see also folio 9 verso (D20608).
