There is the suggestion of a bridge in the right foreground. The river looks narrower than the Derwent at Cockermouth, as seen on folio 4 (D07542), but might be the Cocker if the sketch was made in the same area. However, this has not been confirmed. If Turner was using the sketchbook haphazardly, this and folio 2 could conceivably show the buildings and stream at Calder Bridge, drawn on folio 33 (D07575).
