The drawing continues on folio 3 recto opposite (D09893), and a small dark blot at the bottom left of the present page is also offset there. There appears to be a pinnacled church tower among the trees on the present page. There is a similar drawing on the recto of this leaf (D09891). There are drawings in the Bristol area beginning on folio 3 verso (D09894), so it may be that these studies were also made there or nearby.
Technical notes:
There is a small, ringed spot of foxing at the top left, showing through from the recto.
