Finberg listed this as ‘page 89’, noting that it ‘probably belong[s] to this sketchbook’. It was inserted in the reconstituted book as folio 16 recto, as noted by Edward Croft-Murray in a copy of Finberg in Tate’s Library. This is one of the busier and more detailed sketches in the book, showing men-of-war dressed with flags, a barge and other smaller vessels as well as the near-collision noted by Turner.
