This is a very slight continuation of the profile of the small island in the River Tyne in the foreground of the sketch of Prudhoe Castle on folio 79 verso opposite (D12420).
Technical notes:
There is some patchy staining or a paper fault across the upper part of the page, which does not show through to the verso (D12422) except as a slight rippling; in transmitted light it appears paler than the rest of the sheet.
