Taken from Mill Gill at Askrigg, a little way above the West Mill, this drawing looks downstream to the church in the left distance, with Addleborough in the distance right and a footbridge over the stream in the foreground leading up steps to the fields. In the left middle distance Turner has indicated a figure standing under the water trough supplying the mill.
