This drawing, with trees, what seems to be a gateway, and distant hills, is the slighter part of a composition which continues on folio 6 verso opposite (D09899), under which the view is discussed.
Technical notes:
A small, ringed spot of foxing at the bottom right shows through from the verso (D09901). There is some heavy pencil offsetting on the right from the opposite page.
