A large number of Henry Moore’s small, table-top sculptures and maquettes were included in his eightieth birthday exhibition held at Cartwright Hall, Bradford, in 1978. Two plaster sculptures now held in the Tate collection, Animal Head 1951 (Tate T02271) and Three-Quarter Figure 1961 (Tate T02288), can be seen in the photograph of this display.
