Photograph showing Henry Moore's Woman 1957–8 outside Cartwright Hall, Bradford 1978
To mark Henry Moore’s eightieth birthday in 1978, a large-scale exhibition of his work was held at Cartwright Hall, Bradford. The exhibition included a wide selection of his work, including both small maquettes and large-scale outdoor sculpture. This photograph shows the sculpture Woman 1957–8 (Tate T02280), a work that Moore later donated to the Tate Gallery, outside the gallery entrance.
