[Handwritten:]
Dear Mr Gore thank you for your card. In the end it has not been necessary to change the drawings as I acquired another frame. My brother left England to go to Florence last week so he won’t be able to attend your meeting. Is it possible to vote by deputy? If so I wonder would you be kind enough to give his vote in my favour, which was his wish.
