These are the minutes of the seventh meeting of the London Group. This is the first gathering at which Walter Sickert was absent; Spencer Gore took his place as chairman.

Of the ten candidates proposed for election, only the sculptor Henri Gaudier-Brzeska was successful. The voting list shows the number of votes for and against each candidate (fig.1 TGA 806/10/6). A proxy vote was sent in by Henry Lamb, who voted for Hilda Trevelyan, as he had done on 3 January, but she was again unsuccessful (fig.2 TGA 806/10/6). One of the candidates, Paul Nash, wrote to James Bolivar Manson asking that his brother John’s vote be given ‘in my favour, which was his wish’ (fig.3 TGA 806/10/6).

London Group Meeting 7th Feb. 1914.
Present:–
S.F. Gore (Chair), Etchells, Therese Lessore, J. Etchells, S. de Karlowska, P.W. Lewis, Hamilton, Wadsworth, Ratcliffe, Bayes, Adeney, Bevan, Epstein, Finch, Gilman, Nevinson, Ginner, Sund, Manson.
Ten candidates were proposed for election. Only one Gaudier Brzeska was elected.
It was decided that the sending in day for the Exhibition should be 27th February.
Members may send 5 works.
Each exhibitor shall have two works at least in the large room.
Exhibitors should indicate which two they prefer to have in the large room
Subscriptions for the half-year viz: 10/6 must be paid before the sending-in day to secure the right to exhibit.
A van will call for the work of members who have expressed a wish by the 26th Feb.
