- Papers related to an episode of the BBC television programme ‘Eye of The Artist’ titled ‘Fantastic Art’
- Date
- [c.August 1948]
- Description
- 'Fantastic Art' seems to have been a programme about Surrealism produced by Anthony Pugh and narrated by Halam Fordham which included contributions from Ithell Colquhoun and Eileen Agar.
The papers consist of the official typed script for the programme, which includes details of the technical requirements and movements of the cameras, but gives only rough guidelines of what Ithell intends to say. There are also several manuscript pages of Ithell's notes for her sections, which range from a complete script to prompting notes. - Reference
