Items available online are a range of works by Ithell Colquhoun including early watercolours and writings. The collection also includes: correspondence from leading figures in the art world from Man Ray to Lady Ottoline Morrell; records relating to Ithell's interest in the Occult; and surrealist paintings produced by her students.
Also available to view online from this collection is a typescript entitled, 'Recollection of Kurt Schwitters' - an article by Ithell Colquhoun about Schwitters' life and her acquaintance with him.

- Chain poems are surrealist methods, similar to games such as 'The Exquisite Corpse', 'Ghosts' and 'Heads, Bodies and Legs'.
Ithell published an essay titled 'The Chain Poem', along with two 'Experiments in the Chain Poem' in issue 5 of 'TRANSFORMAcTION'.
This folder contains the manuscripts and typescripts of both the essay and the poems, (titled 'If and Then' and 'Question and Answer') along with chain poems titled 'Question-And-Answer Foursome' (published in 'Melmoth magazine' 'Question-And-Answer Threesome', 'Serial Poem', 'Question and Three Answers' and 'Chain Poem Foursome'.
There are also the original manuscripts of chain poems as written By IC, Lawrence Alloway and Paul Southey; IC and Toni del Renzio; and IC, Toni Del Renzio, S. Watson-Taylor and his sister. - Reference
