- Letters to Michael Sadleir have been extracted from Michael Ernest Sadlers's correspondence and can be found in TGA 8221/6, whilst letters to correspondents other than Michael Ernest Sadler and Michael Sadleir can be found in TGA 8221/8. Other items found among the correspondence, such as writings by other authors, sketches, catalogues and press cuttings have also been removed to TGA 8221/8. Letters from the some of the same correspondents may also be found in TGA 8221/3, TGA 8221/6 and TGA 8221/7. Drafts or carbon copies of replies by Michael Ernest Sadler have been kept in sequence with the sender's correspondence. Most of the letters have been annotated with the correspondent's name in the top right corner (probably by Michael Sadleir). Additional annotations are noted in the catalogue; some of these are also by Michael Sadleir, probably written in preparation for the biography on his father.
