Description
The letter concerns Epstein's family affairs and work mentioning an attempt to send Peggy Jean a Christmas present through Irving Esptein, that he has sent off the model for Coventry Cathedral and is starting a new work and his poor health. The letter also mentions he has been asked to contribute to an exhibition of English art for Washington, has been visited by the American sculptor Chaim Gross, that Irving's son is getting married, his bust of William Blake has been unveiled in Westminster Abbey but he has not been paid for it and Peggy Jean's financial settlement with Hornstein. Includes original envelope.
