Description
Brief monthly entries recording important events in Gotch's life during each year. These contain information about his art education, his living arrangements, his marriage to Caroline Yates, the birth of their daughter Phyllis and their travels abroad to Europe, Australia and South Africa. Also includes details of his portraits and paintings, where they were exhibited and his involvement with various clubs and societies. Information about his social life and the activities of his family and friends is also recorded.
