Description
Full text in translation:
'Dear Jacques,
I'm leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow for the next 8 to 10 days. I want to say goodbye. Cocteau came back yesterday; I was able to tell him what I've been thinking without using names. He understood. I will tell you when I'm back. He protested saying 'I have the need to express myself differently than with words and the right to tell you' to which I said, 'In seriousness yes, but not the way it was expressed in this journal'. Kisses, Jeanne.'
Letterhead on the top says: 'Bibliotheque etrangere. Tableaux et editions des gravures modernes. Directrice Jeanne Bucher'.
