- Jacques writes how happy he was to see the Camille's signature on the letter and to know that they are ok. He asks about the destiny of their common friends, such as Gilbert [Vicomte de Courtois?], Bugnards, Franchette, Duicing, Marc and Yvonne and tells his news, the most important of which is that he is working on the 'Prometheus' for the Ministry of Education in Rio-de-Janeiro.
