Description
The handwriting is barely legible writing with most words impossible to read. The sender is identified as Germaine Krull-Ivens because the letter was kept in a folder with this name, and the second letter is signed in full.
'My dear friend,
It will be impossible for me, to my regret, [illegible sentence] to get you tomorrow. Unfortunately, one of my good clients wants to see me and it is looking as if he will keep me all afternoon. What time would it be more convenient for yourself and Mrs. Lipchitz? If the time isn't good, I can come another day, maybe next Tuesday at 2 pm? I hope the idea will please you.
Cordially and with my best wishes.
G.K-Iv[?]'
