Description
Full text in translation:
'Dear Friend,
I'm finally back from this short trip that wasn't terrible despite feeling tired. I saw again the place we first took refuge, it's a charming place, as well as Toulouse where amongst other things I saw some incredible Rubens, strong and free. I've also went more south, visiting St. Betrand-de-Comminges with friends for two days. Now it's time for installing a routine, the exhibition is finished, and the sculpture is back at the newly fixed studio, it's time to organise all the different components. It's the task I must focus on. I forgot to tell you that I've brought back some paintings including the copy after Van [possibly Dyck] that is beautiful. How are you? Please write me a quick word so that I know you are well. Best wishes, Lipchitz'
