- Graphite, crayon, pastel, chalk, ink, and watercolour on paper, 60 pages, 8 pages and back cover are missing, 225 × 175 mm
Apart from several late studies for 'Noli Me Tangere', which must date from 1961, almost all the drawings in this sketchbook are of landscape themes, including studies for a number of pictures of 1961-2, such as 'Path between Hedges' 1961-2, 'Dark Landscape' 1962 and 'Tree against Low Hill' 1962.
