Description
This letter sent by Barbara Hepworth to Margaret Gardiner concerns general news. Hepworth writes about arrangements for some of her sculptures that will be delivered to Gardiner by the Lefevre Gallery, she also writes about some of her drawings and mentions several galleries. Hepworth also writes about feeling delighted after receiving the first copy of her book, she says that she hopes Gardiner will approves of it. Hepworth finishes her letter by writing about some bad criticism she received, including one by Myfanwy Piper [John Piper's wife] and also mentions a 'monstrous' article with photographs about Tate Gallery.
