- This short letter sent by Barbara Hepworth to Margaret Gardiner is sent to inform her that she is moving into her studio as it is taking her a long time to recover from both salmonella and shingles, she writes 'I can at least look at my stones through the window'. She also writes that she has taken the decision to leave Nicholson; 'Therefore I am leaving him'.
