- This letter sent by Barbara Hepworth to Margaret Gardiner concerns general news. Hepworth thanks Gardiner for the shoes she sent to her as a gift. Hepworth also says that she will be using steel wool to 'Concoct something' for her children. She writes about plans for Christmas and says that Gardiner's visit might cheer Ben [Nicholson] who has been missing 'intelligent company'. Hepworth also mentions friends and the work of Naum Gabo.
