Description
This letter sent by Barbara Hepworth to Margaret Gardiner concerns general and personal news. Hepworth writes to Gardiner about the children, she also mentions that Nicholson has been ill and had to cancel his trip to London. Hepworth writes about arrangements for the upcoming visit of Gardiner, she writes that she is 'longing' to see her. Hepworth writes about feeling tired and says that she is carving but feels mentally hopeless. She finishes the letter with comments and opinions about science, film and books and says that she feels the only way forward is with the arts and sciences standing firm together.
