Contains studies of female and male figures, including nudes, still-lifes, portraits, rural farm scenes, abstract compositions and cats. Inscribed on page 1 by Adler '5/III 1939'. Several leaves bear the studio stamp 'Jankel Adler C.A.' (for Charles Aukin, Adler's executor). The numbered sequence (in pencil) 81-141 has been added later, in another hand.
