- Date
- [28 July 1919]
- Description
- Letter from Vanessa Bell, Charleston, East Sussex, cancelling her intended trip to London to see the Ballets Russes production of 'The three-cornered hat', with designs by Picasso. She blames problems with servants and the 'horrors' of domesticity, which also prevent her from painting. Bell announces her intention to make up with Bunny Garnett after a quarrel, and praises a growing Angelica. Also mentions Mrs Brereton ('La B.'), Nellie Brittain, Mrs Pitcher, and Jenny Pratt.
