- Letter from Vanessa Bell, Charleston, East Sussex, to Duncan Grant. She writes about her servants and children (in particular Angelica and her nurse Nellie Brittain), and her return to painting, and asks Grant to invite painter Teddy Wolfe to Charleston. She hopes to attend two forthcoming Ballets Russes shows in London, with designs by André Derain and Pablo Picasso. Also mentions Clive, Julian and Quentin Bell, Mrs Brereton ('La B.'), Roger Fry, Mary Hutchinson, Blanche Payne, Mrs Pitcher, Jenny Pratt, and Mabel Selwood.
