Bell worries about Grant's health and the move to Charleston; she discusses conscientious objectors Adrian Stephen, Gerald Shove and his fiancée Fredegond Maitland working as farm labourers in Cheltenham, and a trip to the cinema with her children. Letter also mentions Clive Bell, Herbert Duckworth, David 'Bunny' Garnett, Faith Henderson, Mary Hutchinson, John Maynard Keynes, Karin Stephen, John Tresidder Sheppard, and Virginia Woolf.
