- Letter from Vanessa Bell, Harbour View, Studland, Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, to Duncan Grant, thanking him for wool he sent, inviting him to dine on the Bells' return to London, and outlining uncertain plans to visit France the following month. She records visits from Virginia Woolf as well as Lytton Strachey, whose portrait she and Roger Fry both painted. Also mentions Henry Lamb, Gwen and Jacques Raverat, and Adrian Stephen.
