Description
Letter from Vanessa Bell, 46 Gordon Square, Bloomsbury, London, to Duncan Grant, Wissett Lodge, Suffolk. Describes nightmare she had about Grant the conscientious objector being ordered to India; a visit to the Omega Workshops; and dinner and gossip with Clive Bell, Mary Hutchinson and Lytton Strachey - Bell speculates on the latter's relationship with Dora Carrington. Others mentioned include Mr Upton and Mrs Miles (present caretaker and wife of previous caretaker of the Workshops), David 'Bunny' Garnett, Virginia and Leonard Woolf, James Strachey, Evan Morgan Lord Tredeger, John Maynard Keynes, Maria Nys (later Huxley), Boris Anrep and Lord Hugh Cecil.
