Describes evening with Georges Duthuit, including discussion of his affair with Sacheverell Sitwell's wife Georgia. Discusses Grant's health, helping Julian prepare for his new post at Wuhan University, and her photographs of Angelica, who has been receiving the attentions of Nigel Henderson. Also mentions Helen Anrep, the 'Commendatore', Marguerite Duthuit (née Matisse), the Lefevre Gallery, the pseudonymous Louisa, Marco Polo the cat, Flossie Selwood, and Tisdall the dentist.
