She discusses visiting 'Cézanne' at the Lefevre Gallery; the sale of five Grant works by Donachie at an 'English show', including a Paris subject, perhaps 'La Place de Furstenberg' (1935); and Grant's 'Queen Mary' decorations. Also mentions Julian Bell, Jane and Kenneth Clark, Henry Lamb, Ernest Leach, Lily, Marco Polo the cat, James and Marguerite McBey, P&O, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Flossie Selwood, and Wallace.
